Steven Taylor is well known to audiences
throughout the Rocky Mountain region both for
his beautiful expressive singing, and his dramatic
interpretations. His singing credits include guest
soloist with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra,
the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, the
Fresno Philharmonic, the Wyoming Symphony,
the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra, the
Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, the Greeley
Philharmonic Orchestra, the Grand Junction
Symphony, and the National Repertory
Orchestra. Steven has also been guest soloist
with many other organizations including the
Colorado Ballet, the  Colorado Chorale, Colorado
Children’s Chorale, and the Western Nebraska
Masterworks Chorale.

Legacy's  baritone:
Most recently, Steven has performed in concert as the baritone soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth
Symphony and the Colorado Symphony; Handle's Messiah with the Littleton Symphony
Orchestra; and as Elijah in Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the Larimore Chorale.
Steven has performed on stage in the role of the elder Dr. Buchanan in Summer and Smoke with
Central City Opera; Horace Tabor in The Ballad of Baby Doe in the Tabor Opera house in
Leadville, Co. with the Center for Excellence in the Arts; and as Giorgio Germont in The Lady of
the Camellias (an adaptation of Verdi’s La Traviata) with UCCC Theatre works and Opera
Theatre of the Rockies.

Steven has performed on stage in numerous productions with Opera Colorado, Central City
Opera, Opera Theatre of the Rockies, Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, the Little Theatre of the
Rockies, the University of Northern Colorado Opera Theatre, the Vocal Arts Symposium of
Colorado College, and Opera Ft. Collins.

In addition to a busy performance schedule, Steven is currently the Chair of the Music
Department, and Coordinator of Voice at COLORADO CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY.

Steven is also in demand as a voice clinician.
He has been a guest artist/faculty member at the VOCAL ARTS SYMPOSIUM  of COLORADO
COLLEGE Summer Session, and formerly a member of the voice faculty at the UNIVERSITY OF
NORTHERN COLORADO.

Steve and his wife Vicki live in Broomfield, CO. Along with their four beautiful children: Jennie,
Becki, Andy, and Anna..
