The Gaines Family --

Chris Gaines joined Legacy Quartet in May 2008 bringing with him over twelve years of Southern Gospel quartet experience. He sang with the “Connected Quartet” in Southern California, and upon moving to Colorado helped form a Denver based group called “Faith2Faith Quartet”. After seeking the Lord’s will for over a year in his desire to join a professional quartet, the Lord led Chris to Legacy and in many ways lead Legacy to Chris.
He has many years of solo, duet and group experience ranging from high school choirs to a group called “Singing Men” at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan his freshman year. He was also a member of “Highest Praise” a mixed group that toured on behalf of Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Chris has been married since 1993 to his best friend from his high school days at Campion Academy in Loveland. They live in Greeley, Colorado where Chris grew up and they are raising five fantastic children to know and love Jesus.
When he’s not singing, Chris does marketing and management for a large continuing care retirement facility. Working with the elderly has given him a better understanding of how to deal with Norm.
He is grateful to Norm, Steve, Mitch, and the wives for giving him an opportunity to sing with Legacy and to become a part of this important ministry of the gospel.
